The annual Ghanaian Mo Ibrahim Governance Weekend is set to take place in Ghana this month of November.
A concert dubbed the ‘Free Concert’, is set to come on at the Independence Square, Ghana come Saturday, November 21, and a huge line up of artistes have been chosen to headline the upcoming concert.
Some of the notable acts who will be headlining the concert include; Grammy Award winning singer,Angélique Kidjo, Senegalese Legend – Youssou N’Dour, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and DJ Mic Smith.
The concert would be just one part of activities to mark the weekend.
On Friday, November 20, there would be a leadership forum honouring the 2014 Ibrahim laureate.
The Mo Ibrahim Governance Weekend is organised by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. The Foundation gives out the annual cash prize to African leaders, and holds many other activities of critical importance in the country.
