70 Year Old Grandmas Look 40 Again: You Will Not Believe Their Transformations!

The Best Skin Solution You've Never Heard Of

Instead of throwing away money on expensive anti-aging skin creams that make big promises and don't work, one reader has discovered a skin product that erases years off her face for only a few dollars. Read on to find out how it works!

Lauren, a 72 year-old grandma from Iowa, is a perfect example of how a little smart thinking and ingenuity can help you avoid unnecessary health risks and save you thousands of dollars in doctors' bills.
Like most women, Lauren didn't have the extra cash to try out every celebrity endorsed anti-aging "miracle cream" out there, let alone splurge on expensive elective medical procedures, like plastic surgery or facelifts.
Before trying this simple trick, she admits she used to spend almost an hour every day on an extensive skincare regimen consisting of over 6 different products, with seriously disappointing results. Each product made big claims promising to erase wrinkles and return her youthful skin; and while Lauren followed all their usage instructions to the letter, she saw no real results.
Frustrated and let down, she considered going so far as to take out a substantial loan for Botox injections, and even contemplated a highly risky and very expensive facelift procedure. But the high cost (ranging anywhere from $5,000 - $20,000+) and the horror stories of unfixable botched procedures convinced her that cosmetic treatments were not the solution she was looking for. She was determined to find a safe and affordable anti-aging solution that would give her real results and not leave her digging her way out of a huge financial debt.

7 Beauty Hacks You Never Knew You Could Do With an Avocado

From using the fruit of the gods as a makeup remover to a healing manicure mask.

If you've got too many ripe avocados than you can physically smother over toast/blend in a smoothie/bathe nachos in/scoop out and eat like a bowl of yogurt... don't chuck 'em in the compost — try these nourishing beauty treatments with the superfruits instead. Packed with healthy fats, antioxidants, skin-saving vitamins A and K as well as B, C, E, and biotin (aka the hair growth vitamin), they're just asking to star in your pampering regimen. Here's how:

1. Makeup Remover

You don't even need to sacrifice the flesh for this one: The oil in avocado makes a nourishing — and effective — makeup remover. Who knew? Simply swab a Q-tip over a freshly cut avocado and use the oil collected to erase your panda eyes.

2. Eye Serum

The double bonus is that if you use avocado as an eye makeup remover, it's a super-nourishing eye treatment too. The oil in avocados is thought to have the highest concentration of the healthy fats and vitamins A and E — so don't wash the residue off afterward; gently massage it into the skin using your ring fingers and it will be easily absorbed.

3. Face Mask

There are endless variations on the avocado face mask, but combining the pulp with other skin-feeding ingredients in your kitchen cupboard is recommended. Most simply, try mixing half a super-ripe avocado with a teaspoon of raw honey (a great natural exfoliant and humectant so it helps shed dry skin while boosting hydration levels), and leave it on your face for 10 minutes before washing off. If you have blemish-prone skin, try combining a spoon of natural yogurt to the recipe; the lactic acid helps kill bacteria.

4. Skin Scrub

With a couple more ingredients, you can turn your face mask into a pore-polishing scrub. Combine half an avocado and teaspoon of honey with a tablespoon each of olive oil and granulated brown sugar. Blend it well in a bowl and gently buff it over damp skin. Naturally exfoliating, balancing, and moisturizing — your skin will feel super-smooth after washing it off.

5. Lip Scrub

Keep a spoonful of your skin scrub aside and add in a drop of peppermint oil to make it an invigorating lip scrub. It will brighten your lips and get the blood pumping to them, while doubling as a little breath freshener.

6. Hair Mask

If you only try one avo hack, do it with your hair; one of the best vitamins for long, strong hair growth is biotin, which is found in avocado. Combine it with some equally rich and moisturizing olive oil, and apply it only to the lengths and ends of the locks if you're prone to greasy roots. However, if you suffer from dandruff, adding some lemon juice to the mixture and working it through the scalp too can help treat flaky skin. As with any hair mask, to avoid mess, wrap it up into a shower cap – which you can pop in the washing machine afterward! – and leave it in for 20 minutes, gently heating it up with a hair dryer for added activation.

7. Manicure Mask

If you want to recreate a luxury manicure experience, add an avocado hand mask into your routine. Simply mash up half a ripe avocado with a small ripe banana (also antioxidant-, vitamin-, and mineral-rich) and cover your hands in the green gloop. While it works its healing magic, pop your hands in some sandwich bags to minimize mess! When you wash it (or lick it?) off after 10 minutes, your hands will be softer than when you use hand cream, and your nails will be nicely nourished from the vitamins
