15 SEX TIPS FROM THE BEDROOMS OF REAL WOMEN

If you want to know what real women think and dream about in the bedroom, we got the scoop for you right here.

You don't need a special occasion to be the reason you go all-out in the bedroom. It may seem more romantic, but odds are one of you will be too drunk after weddings and holiday parties to have a good quality romp. Make sex exciting all the time by breaking out of the cookie-cutter positions and listening to your girl. Do you know what she really wants between the sheets? She’s definitely fantasized about it before, you just need to tease it out of her.

The key to unleashing her greatest orgasm ever may require a lot of bells and whistles (a la 50 Shades of Grey) or it may be simpler than you think. We asked real women for their favorite form of foreplay, sex, and more so you can end the night with a grand finale, not a flop.

Get In The (Erogenous) Zone

“Never underestimate the power of a few well-placed kisses. It drives me crazy when my boyfriend starts kissing the nape of my neck and gently nibbling on my ear lobe – I get tingles all the way down to clitoris. After a few minutes I’m literally begging him to just put it in.”

Talk Dirty “You don’t have to save all the naughty stuff for the bedroom. If you’re out at a fancy dinner, tell your girl how badly you want her across the table. If you’re at a bar, put your hand on her ass and tell her the things you’ll do to her when you get home. Telling women how desirable they are will give them the confidence to act out all your dirty fantasies later.

Be A Boob Man “It drives me insane when my boyfriend takes the time to pay attention to my boobs. I don’t just mean grabbing, I mean kissing and licking until my nipples are hard and then giving them little bites. By that time I’m usually so wet that just a little fingering will make me cum—and the times he’s bitten down while his hand is down there I’ve had the most mind-blowing orgasms ever.”
Touch Yourself  “I know it may sound strange, but watching my boyfriend get himself off is such a turn on. I’ll start by lying down naked next him, my body against his, and play with his member until he gets hard. Then I put his hand down there and just rub my body against him and watch. I think it makes me so hot 'cause it’s kind of taboo, something he would do in private, but I also like actually seeing how much I turn him on.”
Let Her Take Charge When my fiancĂ© and I are doing it missionary I usually feel as if I’m on the brink of coming and it makes me go totally wild. I’ll push him back so I can get on top, place my arms on his to hold them down, and just ride him hard until I cum—and keeping eye contact the whole time makes it extra intense. So my note to guys is, there’s nothing wrong with lying back and just enjoying the view.”
Get Wet “Everyone talks about shower sex, but on nights when it’s cold out or on a lazy Sunday draw a bath and get in together. Since you’re both in the water you don’t have to worry about the water flying in your face or one of you getting cold. Adding bubbles is a nice touch, too. Since some of your body is hidden, it helps with loosening inhibitions.”
Women Like Porn, Too “It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then when my husband and I are feeling especially frisky we’ll put some porn on. We’ll take turn getting on our knees and going down on each other while the other sits on the couch and the finish by going at it doggy style.”
Doggy Style 2.0 “My favorite sex position is when I lie down on the bed and a guy takes me from behind. Keeping a steady rhythm and grabbing my ass real tight will usually end with us coming at the same time and pretty quickly—it’s that good.” confessed by a Nollywood actress, Nuella Njubigbo
Find The Spot “If a guy is going down on me I love when they take time to kind of ‘explore’ what’s going down there instead of just incessantly rubbing or poking. Gently licking my clit and then slowly rubbing it until I orgasm is just so intense, and it makes me feel like my partner cares about making me get off.”
Dirty Spooning “I love waking up after a good night’s rest with my boyfriend spooning—and being able to feel how hard he is. Instead of just acting like neither of us notices, I love when he gently grabs my thigh and starts touching me down there. When he puts it in, the nice, tight fit from that angle makes it feel incredible for both us.”
Set Her Fantasies in Motion “There have been a few times during sex where I’ve admitted to my boyfriend that I want him to tie my hands up one night and just take me. I’m a little too shy to actually instigate it, though, like to actually buy handcuffs or rope ahead of time. Then one night as we were about to get it on my boyfriend reached in the bedside table and told me he had a surprise for me—and brought out two silk scarves to tie my hands with. The fact that he got my fantasy ready-to-go was as amazing as the experience actually felt.”
Don’t Get Comfortable “Some of the hottest sex my husband and I have is right when we get home from work. There’s something incredibly hot about him propping me up on his lap on the couch while we’re both still in our work clothes. So I’d tell guys not to bother with the undressing. Just pull your girl’s stockings down, unzip your pants and do it. Getting dirty while you’re still in that office—mind frame and outfit kind of makes you feel like you're in your own porn movie.”
Open The Toy Chest “I love a man who isn’t intimidated by sex toys. If you know your girl has some, ask her to bring them out and let you be the one to pleasure her with them. For me, since I usually use my vibrator alone and on myself, it feels like I’m letting a guy in on naughty little secret when I let him be the one to tease me with it. And of course, nothing actually feels better than the last minute of substituting the toy for the real thing.”
69 Redux “I feel like the 69 position gets called out a lot for be ‘outdated,’ (and it definitely isn’t!), but why not switch it up a bit? I love when a guy straddles me so that his member is right against my mouth and I can give him a blowjob from that angle or stick out my tongue and have him tap his stuff against it…it really is a turn on for both us.”
Brave The Elements “Everyone talks about taking sex al fresco in the summer, but it’s actually so hot and sticky then and do you want to spend half the time batting away mosquitos? I much prefer going on an autumn hike, working up a little sweat, and then having a quickie out in the elements. The feel of cold air against your skin is honestly exhilarating—and even more spontaneous than just getting it on at the beach after dark.”

OVERNIGHT EXPERT: HOW TO TALK DIRTY

Maybe you planning phone sex, sex or foreplay, talking dirty takes tact. Not sure where to start? Use these expert tips to learn what to say—and when.
69figures

Guys get a bad rap for being brazen about all things related to sex, but when it comes to talking dirty, shyness is the biggest barrier to giving it a shot—and seriously enhancing your bonding time in the bedroom. “The number one issue that comes up with guys who call into my radio show about this topic is that they want to do it—especially if their girlfriend is game—but they’re afraid that they’re going to cross some line and end up offending her,” says psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Berman, who hosts The Love and Sex Show with Dr. Jenn and VH1’s Couples Therapy. An easy way to get over a fear of offending her: Learn how to ace a more explicit conversation so you’ll be confident when it comes to turning her on with words alone. Use these expert tips to ensure that your strategy for expressing your sexual desires is tactful, not trashy.
Break the ice

Talking dirty is an intimate experience, so delve into it with your girlfriend, not the girl you met at the bar two nights ago. If you’re feeling shy about bringing up the subject, Berman advises starting out with something like this: “Hey, I was thinking about talking dirty and wanted to know if that’s something you’re game to try.” If she says yes, proceed slowly with something along the lines of, “Awesome, I’m so excited you’re into that. But I want to make sure I don’t cross any lines. Are there any words that you’re not okay with?”

Set boundaries

It’s not the sexiest stage of dirty talk, but getting a feel for what words turn her on—and off—will ensure you don’t offend her. (And trust us—doing your homework will pay off in the end.) Ask her what she’d like to hear. If she’s shy in her responses, gauge her comfort level by running through words and phrases that could come up in future conversations. Remember that there’s no magic formula for R-rated dialogue—one woman may be repulsed by a certain word, while another woman will be all about it.
Just don’t get too hung up on the vocab, warns Berman. “Honestly, it’s not about the words,” she says. “It’s really a matter of knowing who you’re talking dirty with and making sure everyone is on the same page. Because once you go through the vocabulary, you can really cut loose and have fun.”

Get inspired

We get it—the hardest part about talking dirty isn’t getting your girlfriend’s permission, it’s coming up with what to say. If you need ideas, erotic literature is a good place to start. Berman suggests checking out author Nancy Friday’s collection of men’s and women’s sexual fantasies.

And don’t be afraid to make research a joint activity: “Whether it’s female-friendly erotica or an X-rated magazine like Penthouse Forum, dive into a read with her to find out what scenarios and lines turn her on,” suggests Dr. Yvonne K. Fulbright, sexologist and Sexual Wellness and Relationship Ambassador for Astroglide. “Ask what she’d be up for recreating or what she would like to hear you say.”

If books, movies, and magazines just aren’t doing it for you, try this no-fail tactic: “Describe what you’re doing or what you want to do,” suggests Berman. “That tends to be 90 percent of what people do when they’re talking dirty.”

Ease into the explicit, every time

Even if she’s more than down to try some dirty talk, that’s not your cue to go full steam ahead. “Don't just dive into dropping the ‘f-bomb’ or getting nasty,” says Fulbright. “Start by titillating her with tamer words, getting a feel for the mood she's in and just how far she wants for things to go.”

Keep her guessing
“Whether you’re caught up in the moment or simply lacking creativity, saying the same thing over and over again can make sex feel more like a porn flick and less like a ‘we’ moment,” notes Fulbright. Her advice: Stay present and make sure you’ve got plenty of erotic words and phrases to choose from. It’ll keep you from sounding like a broken record, which can be a turn off.

Don’t freak out if it doesn’t work
If pillow talk makes you and your girlfriend feel more silly than sexy, don’t beat yourself up over it. “Ultimately, if you decide that talking dirty isn’t our thing, still having gone there and taken that risk will bring you closer together and make your sex life better no matter what,” says Berman.

Libido and erection (II)

Before we conclude the causes and cure of low libido, kindly note that it has been found that low libido in men is a much more common complaint. Men who have a reduced sex drive don’t want to talk about it, and the wives don’t want to talk about it either. The wife is afraid that if she says much about it, people will think that her husband is either gay, or she’s a ‘bad lady.’ She also fears that people will say she is unattractive to stir her husband’s passions. And many husbands have the myth that they’re supposed to want it all the time, anywhere, but this is the time and age of high information. You either see a sex therapist or a neurologist or a medical practitioner for help.
Couples need not feel they have to have sex a certain number of times a week to have a good sex life. The best and biggest low libido remedy is just do it. Once the more obvious causes for a man’s low libido have been identified and eliminated, couples must often work through differences in their relationship to arrive at a solution. When your wife is interested, just do it, this has cured a lot of low libido cases.
For couples who have been together longer, anger often stands in the way of one or both partners’ sex drive. By not dealing with marital anger immediately, it can be a big leading cause of low libido. One possible solution is some long, honest talks. Ideally, couples should have sex about thrice a week but assigning a number to normal frequency of sex may not work for some couples considering their temperament, age, health stability, nature of work, general belief and the type of marriage relationship they operate in. And couples should always do what they are happy about and always think about how happy the person next to you is in bed.
But it is very paramount to note that the loss of oestrogen and testosterone following menopause can lead to changes in a woman’s body and sexual drive. Some categories of women in menopausal and postmenopausal may notice that they’re not as easily aroused, and they may be less sensitive to touching and stroking. That can lead to less interest in sex. Also, lower levels of oestrogen can cause a drop in blood supply to the vagina. That can affect vaginal lubrication, causing the vagina to be too dry for comfortable sex — but there’s help for that. Menopause does not lower sex drive in all women. Rather, many postmenopausal women say they’ve got an improved sex drive. That may be due to less anxiety linked to a fear of pregnancy. Also, many postmenopausal women often have fewer child-rearing responsibilities, allowing them to relax and enjoy intimacy with their husbands.
But for some women who do not want sex during menopause, it is still advisable to still take time for intimacy. You can still show your husband love and affection without having sex. Enjoy your time together: take walks, eat dinner out, or give each other back rubs. This gradually leads to good sex. And to improve your physical intimacy, you can consider experimenting with erotic videos or books, and changes to sexual routines. Use distraction techniques to boost relaxation and ease anxiety. These can include erotic or non-erotic fantasies, exercises with sex, and music, videos, or television. Have fun with foreplay, such as sensual massage or oral sex. These activities can make you feel more comfortable and improve communication between you and your husband. Minimise any pain you might have by using sexual positions that allow you to control the depth of penetration. You may also want to take a warm bath before sex to help you relax, and use vaginal lubricants to help ease pain caused by friction. Tell your husband what’s comfortable and what’s not.
It is needful for both husband and wife suffering from low libido to always try to focus on the last time they had real good passionate earth-shaking sex together. Taking just five minutes out of your busy day to replay the specifics of your last really great sexual encounter will whet your appetite and instantly increase your libido. One of the reasons many wives lose their libido is when they constantly compare their bodies’ configuration with some unrealistic body ideals; you will definitely feel unsexy. Remember some of those body types are un-attainable; they are artificial in most cases and yours is just very natural and fine.
A leading cause of loss of sexual interest and drive is the constant bombardment of old night wears both from the man and the woman. So, buy new under things. Throw away those ripped, faded, you’ve-had-them-for-four-years granny panties and invest in some new underwear. The sexier, the better new bikinis, boy shorts, or even basic briefs can make you feel special.
Never forget to stop worrying. When you’re focused on worry, the last thing on your mind is feeling sexy. Husband in particular should see the bedroom as for three things: friendship arena, sleep and sex. TV, iPhone, laptop etc are life’s distractions, they reduce friend-shipness, reduce hugs and keep you from being fully in touch with real life, never mind anyone else and reduce sex drive. When this persists, low libido sets in practically. Stay in a room without these gadgets for one year, you will notice that your sex drive will improve; your libido will be high all because you are friendlier, communicate better, cuddle frequently and have sex often. And if you can exist without them, try to unplug for a few minutes each day so you can plug in to what’s important, your marriage relationship. Focus on just one activity— just gisting together. Tuning out from the world helps make you a priority, which in turn reminds you just how lovable you are.
Nothing kills sensuality, sexuality and sex drive than a room full of baby stuff: toys, diaper bags and crayon-drawn art. Have a space in your house that’s for daddy and mummy only, so you can focus on yourselves. This room should have nothing kid-oriented in it. No toys, no pictures of their adorable faces. It should be an environment for you as lovers, sweethearts instead of mom and dad’s room. No! It’s better captioned with a more erotic name such as the greatest sweethearts’ room.
Both husband and wife should have a positive mental attitude and keep their stress level low. If you feel good and self-confident, you may feel more sexual and attractive to your spouse. Remember, prolonged stress can lead to a diminished interest in sex.

Consider special foods and supplements that claim to increase libido in man and woman. Natural supplements can help increase blood flow and sometimes help fight vaginal dryness. Some natural supplements that may increase libido include: vitamin, zinc, vitamin C, arginine, vitamin A, vitamin C, Beta-carotene, vitamin B6, and vitamin B complex. These nutrients may help to boost sperm count, improve sperm motility, enhance prostate gland function, increase testosterone production and create a healthier nervous system. Some foods that may increase libido include: Celery, raw oysters, bananas, avocado, nuts, mangoes, peaches, strawberries, eggs, liver, figs, garlic, pumpkin and chocolate. Certain foods and natural supplements such as these may add much needed nutrients and minerals to your diet, but they are unlikely to make a bigger impact on your sex drive and sexual performance.

Mirrors Don’t Lie. Mislead? Oh, Yes.

For the bubbleheaded young Narcissus of myth, the mirror spun a fatal fantasy, and the beautiful boy chose to die by the side of a reflecting pond rather than leave his “beloved” behind. For the aging narcissist of Shakespeare's 62nd sonnet, the mirror delivered a much-needed whack to his vanity, the sight of a face “beated and chopp’d with tann’d antiquity” underscoring the limits of self-love.

Whether made of highly polished metal or of glass with a coating of metal on the back, mirrors have fascinated people for millennia: ancient Egyptians were often depicted holding hand mirrors. With their capacity to reflect back nearly all incident light upon them and so recapitulate the scene they face, mirrors are like pieces of dreams, their images hyper-real and profoundly fake. Mirrors reveal truths you may not want to see. Give them a little smoke and a house to call their own, and mirrors will tell you nothing but lies.

To scientists, the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of mirrors make them powerful tools for exploring questions about perception and cognition in humans and other neuronally gifted species, and how the brain interprets and acts upon the great tides of sensory information from the external world. They are using mirrors to study how the brain decides what is self and what is other, how it judges distances and trajectories of objects, and how it reconstructs the richly three-dimensional quality of the outside world from what is essentially a two-dimensional snapshot taken by the retina’s flat sheet of receptor cells. They are applying mirrors in medicine, to create reflected images of patients’ limbs or other body parts and thus trick the brain into healing itself. Mirror therapy has been successful in treating disorders like phantom limb syndrome, chronic pain and post-stroke paralysis.

“In a sense, mirrors are the best ‘virtual reality’ system that we can build,” said Marco Bertamini of the University of Liverpool. “The object ‘inside’ the mirror is virtual, but as far as our eyes are concerned it exists as much as any other object.” Dr. Bertamini and his colleagues have also studied what people believe about the nature of mirrors and mirror images, and have found nearly everybody, even students of physics and math, to be shockingly off the mark.
Other researchers have determined that mirrors can subtly affect human behavior, often in surprisingly positive ways. Subjects tested in a room with a mirror have been found to work harder, to be more helpful and to be less inclined to cheat, compared with control groups performing the same exercises in nonmirrored settings. Reporting in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, C. Neil Macrae, Galen V. Bodenhausen and Alan B. Milne found that people in a room with a mirror were comparatively less likely to judge others based on social stereotypes about, for example, sex, race or religion.
“When people are made to be self-aware, they are likelier to stop and think about what they are doing,” Dr. Bodenhausen said. “A byproduct of that awareness may be a shift away from acting on autopilot toward more desirable ways of behaving.” Physical self-reflection, in other words, encourages philosophical self-reflection, a crash course in the Socratic notion that you cannot know or appreciate others until you know yourself.
The mirror technique does not always keep knees from jerking. When it comes to socially acceptable forms of stereotyping, said Dr. Bodenhausen, like branding all politicians liars or all lawyers crooks, the presence of a mirror may end up augmenting rather than curbing the willingness to pigeonhole.
The link between self-awareness and elaborate sociality may help explain why the few nonhuman species that have been found to recognize themselves in a mirror are those with sophisticated social lives. Our gregarious great ape cousins — chimpanzees, bonobos, orangutans and gorillas — along with dolphins and Asian elephants, have passed the famed mirror self-recognition test, which means they will, when given a mirror, scrutinize marks that had been applied to their faces or bodies. The animals also will check up on personal hygiene, inspecting their mouths, nostrils and genitals.
Yet not all members of a certifiably self-reflective species will pass the mirror test. Tellingly, said Diana Reiss, a professor of psychology at Hunter College who has studied mirror self-recognition in elephants and dolphins, “animals raised in isolation do not seem to show mirror self-recognition.”

For that matter, humans do not necessarily see the face in the mirror either. In a report titled “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: Enhancement in Self-Recognition,” which appears online in The Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Nicholas Epley and Erin Whitchurch described experiments in which people were asked to identify pictures of themselves amid a lineup of distracter faces. Participants identified their personal portraits significantly quicker when their faces were computer enhanced to be 20 percent more attractive. They were also likelier, when presented with images of themselves made prettier, homelier or left untouched, to call the enhanced image their genuine, unairbrushed face. Such internalized photoshoppery is not simply the result of an all-purpose preference for prettiness: when asked to identify images of strangers in subsequent rounds of testing, participants were best at spotting the unenhanced faces.

How can we be so self-delusional when the truth stares back at us? “Although we do indeed see ourselves in the mirror every day, we don’t look exactly the same every time,” explained Dr. Epley, a professor of behavioral science at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. There is the scruffy-morning you, the assembled-for-work you, the dressed-for-an-elegant-dinner you. “Which image is you?” he said. “Our research shows that people, on average, resolve that ambiguity in their favor, forming a representation of their image that is more attractive than they actually are.”

When we look in the mirror, our relative beauty is not the only thing we misjudge. In a series of studies, Dr. Bertamini and his colleagues have interviewed scores of people about what they think the mirror shows them. They have asked questions like, Imagine you are standing in front of a bathroom mirror; how big do you think the image of your face is on the surface? And what would happen to the size of that image if you were to step steadily backward, away from the glass?

People overwhelmingly give the same answers. To the first question they say, well, the outline of my face on the mirror would be pretty much the size of my face. As for the second question, that’s obvious: if I move away from the mirror, the size of my image will shrink with each step.
Both answers, it turns out, are wrong. Outline your face on a mirror, and you will find it to be exactly half the size of your real face. Step back as much as you please, and the size of that outlined oval will not change: it will remain half the size of your face (or half the size of whatever part of your body you are looking at), even as the background scene reflected in the mirror steadily changes. Importantly, this half-size rule does not apply to the image of someone else moving about the room. If you sit still by the mirror, and a friend approaches or moves away, the size of the person’s image in the mirror will grow or shrink as our innate sense says it should.
What is it about our reflected self that it plays by such counterintuitive rules? The important point is that no matter how close or far we are from the looking glass, the mirror is always halfway between our physical selves and our projected selves in the virtual world inside the mirror, and so the captured image in the mirror is half our true size.

Rebecca Lawson, who collaborates with Dr. Bertamini at the University of Liverpool, suggests imagining that you had an identical twin, that you were both six feet tall and that you were standing in a room with a movable partition between you. How tall would a window in the partition have to be to allow you to see all six feet of your twin?

The window needs to allow light from the top of your twin’s head and from the bottom of your twin’s feet to reach you, Dr. Lawson said. These two light sources start six feet apart and converge at your eye. If the partition is close to your twin, the upper and lower light points have just begun to converge, so the opening has to be nearly six feet tall to allow you a full-body view. If the partition is close to you, the light has nearly finished converging, so the window can be quite small. If the partition were halfway between you and your twin, the aperture would have to be — three feet tall. Optically, a mirror is similar, Dr. Lawson said, “except that instead of lighting coming from your twin directly through a window, you see yourself in the mirror with light from your head and your feet being reflected off the mirror into your eye.”

This is one partition whose position we cannot change. When we gaze into a mirror, we are all of us Narcissus, tethered eternally to our doppelgänger on the other side.

How To Make Your Ass Bigger

Thanks to Beyonce, J. Lo, Kim Kardashian, and Nicki Minaj, huge butts are no longer a liability. These women are proving what some ethnic groups and many men have known all along: a big butt is sexy, feminine and a major turn-on. Your man will be sad when you turn to leave him, but he'll enjoy watching you go.

Part 1 of 4: Exercise

  1. Get a Huge Butt Step 1 Version 2.jpg
    1
Do cardio. Getting your heart and lungs going is the absolute quickest way to burning fat. You don't just want junk in the trunk, you want toned, rounded goodness. Try these strategies on different machines at the gym or on the road:
    • On the road: Walk sideways. Pulling your leg away from your body works your butt at a different angle.
    • Treadmill: Jog, making sure that your heel hits the ground before your toe. If you're walking, increase your incline.
    • Elliptical: Bring your hips back so that your butt sticks out a little bit. When you step down, push your heel down first.
    • StairMaster: Lean slightly forward and take bigger steps as though you're trying to climb 2 stairs at a time. Also, let go of the bar so that your butt muscles are forced to keep you stable.
    • Bike: Ride an upright bike and concentrate on pushing down forcefully on the pedals.[1]

Do squats. Any personal trainer or fitness buff will tell you squats should be your main glute exercise. You can do these with a barbell or with dumbbells, depending on your preference.
    • To do squats with a barbell:
      • Start by placing your barbell on a squat rack about 3 to 5" (7.5 to 13 cm) below your shoulders. Lift up the barbell off of the rack and step out of the way (don't use your neck). Position your feet about shoulder-width apart with your knees and toes pointing outward. Make sure your knees line up vertically with your toes so that you don't overextend them.
      • Squeeze your glutes and lower your body until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Use your glutes and push yourself back into your original position. Do 8 reps at a heavy weight or 2 sets of 8 at a lighter weight.
    • To do squats with dumbbells:
      • Hold 2 dumbbells in your hands and stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees, making sure that your knees line up vertically with your toes and don't extend out over your toes. Your toes and knees should angle slightly outward.
      • Squeeze your glutes and lower your butt. Your knees will bend, but they should still not extend beyond your toes. Keep your back as tall as possible. Squat down until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Focus on using your glutes more than you use your thighs when you're raising yourself back into an upright position. Do 2 sets of 8 reps.

Do deadlifts. Add weights to your barbell, being careful not to add too much weight until you get the form of this exercise correct. Stand with your feet beneath a barbell shoulder-width apart so that the balls of your feet are directly under the bar. Turn your toes and knees slightly outward for stability.
    • Squat down and grasp the bar. Your grip should be slightly wider than shoulder width apart.
    • Lower your hips a bit more until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Make sure that your back is flat and that you are looking straight ahead for good alignment.
    • Lift the barbell off of the ground. Stand up, move your hips and shoulders upward at the same rate and keep your back flat.
    • Lower the barbell slowly back to the starting position. Use your glutes and stick your butt out as you lower yourself, as though you're about to sit down in a chair.
    • Do 8 reps. As you get stronger, increase the weight.

Do front lunges and reverse lunges. Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Hold dumbbells in each hand, with your arms relaxed at your sides.
    • To do a front lunge, step forward with your right foot. Bend your right knee until your thigh and calf are at a 90-degree angle. Don't allow your right knee to extend beyond your toes. Push off of your front foot to place yourself back in a standing position. As you rise up, tighten your glutes, your thigh muscles and your calf muscles to bring yourself back to the starting position in a slow and controlled manner.
      • You can either repeat the lunges on your right side or you can step forward with your left foot and lunge, continuing to alternate sides. Do 2 sets of 8 so that you perform 8 lunges on the right side and 8 lunges on the left side.
    • To do a reverse lunge, place your left leg a step behind you. Lower your hips until your left calf is parallel to the floor and your right knee is bent at a 90-degree angle. Push off of your right foot and raise yourself up. Keep your back aligned with your hips, and use your glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves to push yourself upward. Bring your left foot back to the starting position. Extend your right foot backward and repeat the reverse lunge on your right side. Do 2 sets of 8 reps so that you get 8 reps for each side of your body.

Do leg raises to work your outer glutes. Start by getting down on your hands and knees. It's best to do these on a soft surface like a yoga mat.
    • Keeping your leg bent at a 90-degree angle, lift the outside of your right knee toward the ceiling until the inner part of your right thigh is parallel to the floor.
    • Hold the position for 5 seconds and then lower your knee back to its starting position. Do the same with your left leg.
    • Do 8 reps on each side and increase the number of reps or the amount of time that you hold your leg in the air to make it more difficult.

Add kickbacks. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms extended outward at shoulder height for balance. Do you feel like you're flying, Jack?
    • Lift your right foot behind you as high as you can while maintaining your balance. You should feel the squeeze in the right side of your butt.
    • Hold the lift for 5 seconds before lowering your foot back to its starting position. Repeat the same exercise on your left side.
    • Increase the challenge as you go by holding your kickback for longer or by doing more reps.

Rest for at least 1 day between workouts. Your muscles need time to recover if you don't want them to shrink, which goes against your mission of getting a huge butt.
    • Muscles need time to repair, literally, the rips and tears that occur with extensive exercise. You may think going, going, going will get you the fastest results, but your muscles will burn out.

Part 2 of 4: Nutrition

Don't cave to the "Eat more protein!" mantra. Every muscle-tee-wearing sweaty guy at the gym may be pounding protein bars, shakes, and powders, but research says it's a myth. In fact, too much may lead to bodily harm.[2]
    • The only way to build muscle is through exercise. Bodies need a modest amount of protein to function well. Extra protein doesn't give you extra strength.[3]
      • For women, the US Department of Health and Human Services says that two daily servings for a total of 6 ounces (170 g) is plenty.
      • Teenage boys and active men can get everything they need from three servings, or 7 ounces (198 g).

Change the carbs that you eat. Cut out refined, white sugars. Instead, go with brown rice, lentils and beans. These "resistant carbs" can cut fat around your midsection, which will make your butt look bigger.
    • Processed, refined goods are generally a no-no for anyone wishing to sculpt their body. Sticking to whole grains, oats, beans and nuts can give you the carbs that are good for your body.

Increase your daily caloric intake based on your body type. If you tend to store fat around your hips and butt, upping your calories so that you have more padding in that area will really help you to get a bigger butt. If you tend to store fat elsewhere, like around your midsection, then you'll just end up putting fat in the wrong place.
    • If you store fat in your arms, stomach, and legs, cutting calories and losing weight will help your butt look bigger by comparison. Since it's hard to target areas completely, a calorie-restrictive diet may be necessary.

Part 3 of 4: Fashion Tricks

Pick the right pants. Choose boot-cut or flared jeans, or wear cropped skinny Capris with heels. The right pants can be miracle workers. Check them from all angles and walk around in them before you take them out of the store.
    • Opt for a tight fit. Anything too baggy will hide your form and make your curves impossible to see. Skinny jeans will obviously do the trick, but any cut with a fitted rear can work wonders, too.
    • Consider pocket placement and color. Small, high back pockets and ones with eye-catching designs are great for giving the illusion of a bigger rear. Stay away from jeans with big pockets or no pockets at all.
    • Both high-waisted and low-waisted jeans will work in your favor. High-waisted jeans draw in at your natural waist, making your butt seem much larger in comparison; low-waisted jeans start at the widest place on your hip, drawing the eye to that area.

Wear padded pants. Try Booty Booster Shorts, which have removable butt pads, or Naomi & Nicole's Firm Sheer Boy Shorts, which claim to pad your butt without jiggling.
    • Try girdles or spanx. They cinch in the fat around your midsection, pushing it to the areas it should be and giving you a shapelier, hourglass look.

Show off your silhouette. Cinch in your waistline or wear clothes that contour your hourglass figure. Anything that draws in at your smallest points is a safe bet. Avoid tops or dresses that cinch in just below your bra or that cinch around the hip.
    • Place a dark-colored belt over any shirt or dress at your natural waistline to elongate the line of your body and draw the eye to your smallest section.

Wear bandage-style stretch skirts and heels. Heels will make you naturally tilt your pelvis forward, making your legs look longer and your butt look bigger. They also flex your calves, making your legs look more toned.
    • If you're uncomfortable in heels, it's best to start out with a kitten heel. No one will be looking at your butt (no matter how great it is) if you're constantly on the verge of spraining your ankle.

Get a massage. A really intense lymphatic massage to reshape your rear, combined with an algae wrap to kill cellulite and water retention, will make your butt look awesome. Or you can ask for Lipomassage, which is a massage tool with rollers designed to make your butt look sleeker.[4]
    • Note: This will not directly affect the size of your butt. It may make the skin glow and give the temporary illusion of tone, but your rear will not get magically bigger overnight. If only, right?

Apply butt enhancement cream. Creams like FDA approved Glutiplus claim that they can significantly increase your butt size. Keep in mind, these are just claims.
    • Again, the only thing that can truly affect butt size is exercise and weight loss/gain. Some people claim that the creams work, but know that there is no science behind it.

Evaluate your surgical options. If your butt is hopelessly flat or bony, then talk to a plastic surgeon about treatments. Some examples include:
    • The Body-jet system: A doctor performs liposuction of fat from the hips, stomach and thighs and then injects the fat into your butt while you're under a local anesthetic.
    • Silicone butt implants: A doctor will put silicone implants under your butt muscles. Just know that these can be painful, and the surgery carries an infection risk.
      • These are extreme, expensive, permanent solutions. Think long and hard before you go about doing something foreign to your body.
